In my last post, I just did the genre of a dubstep a disservice by further perpetuating the stereotype that the entire genre is built on that signature wobbly bass sound that's become some mainstream, even Britney Spears is rockin' it in her new single. Not true. In fact, "untrue" (I promise, the quotation marks are there for a reason).
Dubstep also sounds like this:
The song is from Burial's 2007 ambient dubstep album "Untrue," which received critical acclaim across the board, including landing itself on many best albums of the decade list (not too shabby for a guy who's producing the same genre of music as the ex-From First To Last singer/screamer). I'd recommend that everyone who enjoys this song check out the entire CD.
Yeah, this is better than that wobble bass stuff. Maybe it's an acquired taste
