...but this album FINALLY got me to start writing the theeeeesis! Thanks go to Ana, who plopped this in my hands after picking it up during a recent trip to Londontown. The newest LP from recently signed Ghostly International artist, UK producer- Gold Panda, is a cerebral (ehmm, heady) mix of driving beats, floating melodies, and hypnotic looping sequences sprinkled with samples donning Indian, Chinese, and Indonesian motifs. Hell, he even threw in a nice acoustic guitar track in there for good measure! If you are looking for a pure musical experience fueled by warm, beautifully crafted instrumentation to get the creative juices flowing during the thesis crunch...look no further.
